KNICKERS! [Nov. 2nd, 2006|09:57 am]
Lolitas in Hamilton!

I was looking through the Hamilton Community Guide, and there are a few things that stood out.

Mostly "FROM THE KNICKERS UP". It seems Dundurn is having a show on nineteenth century underthings. I'm just really amused, because I'm sitting here wearing bloomers as pajama pants. I doubt they'd aprove.

Most of the listings are for next year, and almost everything held at Dundurn has an admittance fee of $30-$50, but I've found some that are free, like the Cemetary Historical Walking Tours this November on the 18. I may be the only person interested in it, so I'm not going to suggest making a stroll through a cemetary on a guided tour to look at veteran gravesites a loli meet-up or anything, but there are some others that have cought my eye.

Heh, I'm going to stop there, I don't need to tell you all that Dundurn and Whitehern will be having things all the way through next September. It's too bad the Victorian decorating/cooking classes at Dundurn are so expensive. =( I'm such a baking fiend.

I know a lot of these are very VICTORIAN and not exactly exciting, so by all means, if anyone has any other ideas of things to do/places to go in Hamilton, post it. No one's updated since the lunch at Whitehern in the summer. =(
